Age Limit
Secondary: The minimum age for taking admission in secondary course is 14 years as on 31st July of the current year
Senior Secondary: The minimum age for taking admission in Senior Secondary course is 15 years as on 31st July of the current year
Minimum Education
- 1. A student who gives a self-certificate that "I have studied enough to be able to pursue a secondary course" may be eligible for admission to the secondary course
- 2. A student who has studied at secondary level can also take admission in NIOS to complete his course or improve his performance.
- 3. For taking admission in a senior secondary course, the learner must have passed the secondary course from a recognized board.
NIOS Admission Last Dates
Last date for NIOS admission in Rohini, Delhi: The exam is conducted twice during the year - first (for Block I) in April and second (for Block II) during October. Students have the freedom to choose the exam session whether it is in April-May or October-November. The result is declared after 45-50 days of the exam.
